About

Okay, I know what you’re thinking.  Marry a  nutritionist and you get 24/7 free advice on staying healthy.  That’s true.  Sometimes it’s advice I request, other times it’s unsolicited in the form of a raised eyebrow or a glare that says “I can’t believe you’re eating that.”   But, overall, being married to a nutritionist is a good thing.  And, what I’ve learned about what I eat, drink and put on my body will probably add years to my life and help me avoid going on medications to lower my cholesterol and/or blood pressure, something many of my male friends of similar age are on.

My goal for writing this blog is to share with you guys some important information I’ve learned from my live-in nutritionist about food and nutrition which may not only improve your overall health, but also help you avoid taking drugs like statins, which aren’t great for you and can make your penis smaller.  How that happens, I have no idea but I’m glad it’s something I don’t have to worry about, nor my nutritionist.

It’s kind of a strange thing to think about it…  since 25% of how long you’ll live is out of your control (you know, things like car accidents, walking in on an armed robbery at 7-Eleven and getting shot, or pulling a Bono and crashing into a tree while skiing), then that means 75% of what may affect how long you live is pretty much in your control.

I’m glad you’ve decided to read this blog because I have some things in my arsenal that I’m going to share with you that may make this blog one of the most important reads you’ve ever done.  And what you learn from this blog, I hope you’ll share with your buddies so they, too, may live longer lives and you’ll be able to go on more guy adventures together.  Never underestimate how much fun, and trouble, grey-haired guys can get into together… if they stay healthy.
